Wonderful Tapas and Wine selections were the focus of our evening at “The Kitchen” at Da Silva Winery - temperatures dropped, but the blankets provided made dinner on the deck very comfortable. Look forward to returning once again !!!

Absolutely stunning! The Kitchen by Abul Adame is one of the BEST Iberian restaurants we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy! Chef is passionate, creative, unapologetic-this translates through his table side presence and his perfect dishes! Tapas is not only an art but a way of life (dine later, sip cocktails/wine, socialize and savour, often presented at long paced intervals). This is definitely a foodie’s heaven especially with magical sunsets

Amazing experience here yesterday. The food was fantastic and the wine excellent (get the fume blanc!) Sitting on the deck enjoying tapas and the view. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon. Every dish was a high light but shout out to the seared albacore tuna with guacamole, the grilled Anaheim peppers and the grilled sardines. The service was great. We were very well taken care of. I couldn’t recommend this spot enough and we’re already looking forward to next summers lunch when we return.

The tapas and wine at The Kitchen exceeded our expectations. A minimum of 2 servings per person required and it's enough, especially if sharing servings with a group. Plan for at least 2 hours of dining, but it's definitely worth it. I will definitely be back and looking forward to try everything in the menu!

Beautiful dinner experience with girlfriends. Service was excellent, the setting/views just perfect and the food (& drink) , absolutely delicious. Price point is also very fair. Will definitely visit again and this wasn’t my first time.

Recommended by a Penticton local resident, saying this was her favorite restaurant. After I tried, I totally agree with her. The spicy potato was so good! Best crispy with best spices. The maple balsamic vinegar dressing grill lettuce was so unique and worth trying. The paella was the best (would be even better if it was less salty)! So delicious and lots of mussels clams and prawns, the chicken thigh was amazing with crispy skin. Love all of them.

So good we came back twice during our trip. We were also lucky for the menu to have changed slightly from our first visit so was able to try different tapas dishes. This is the spot for Celiacs, 99% of their menu is gluten-free except for their bread. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Presentation was top notch. If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not the place. It's an experience, order a bunch of dishes to share (min. 2 dishes/person), try some of their cocktails or wine and take in the beautiful view from your table. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine. Our lunch server saw that we had returned and came by to welcome us back. Definitely a nice gesture.

Our second time to The Kitchen by Da Silva. They specialize in Portuguese tapas. Busy Wednesday evening, we’d made resos (6:00pm). Service was friendly, our waitress checked on us several times. Beware, sparkling is 6.00/bottle. Sad they didn’t have any veal tongue available. We shared the house cured mackerel and chimichurri (16.00), pan seared garlic-citrus calamari (16.00), grilled eggplant with blackstrap molasses (10.00) and paella (48.00). Mackerel was fantastic. Calamari tender, the small bits extra delicious. Eggplant wasn’t grilled enough, touch bland. Paella had good amount of mussels, clams, two prawns and a chicken thigh. Tasty saffron rice but several mussels and clams were sandy. Solid, consistent tapas at TKBDS. 4.5 stars.
